Hello, great video..
quick question though, so there is no much difference between monitor that has NTSC 85% and 125% sRGB quantum dot? because i read that ntsc 85% is roughly 122 sRGB.. i just dont understand if the quantum dot on "125% sRGB Quantum Dot" makes a big difference. Hopefully you can answer this.. Thank you in advance.. subscribed.

Cool video and liked! Can u make a video about comparing 45 ntsc and 72 ntsc. I will buy a laptop 45 ntsc with rtx 2060 or a laptop 72 ntsc with gtx 1660ti. Im confused with the display and the gpu. Thanks

if you have a screen that has high color gamut then you can display HDR games which are becoming more common not to mention you can watch movies with a full color gamut. As most movies DO NOT use sRGB (of course they generally release to those using color gradients for the digital release).

Can a laptop have both sRGB and Adobe RGB?

Neto Tedesco June 24, 2020 at 7:04 am

Great video! Is 84% Adobe RGB considered good for designing for print? Would it be a significant difference in comparison with a 76%, both of them IPS? Or it’s only really good and worth it when is more close to 100%?

72% NTSC/CIE1931 vs 99% sRGB vs 85% AdobeRGB
for graphic video work

Bob Coco June 24, 2020 at 7:04 am

Do you have an idea of how a AOC CQ32G1 panel could be advertised as:
NTSC 103% (CIE1976) – sRGB 124% (CIE1931)
I get the sRGB, but >100% NTSC ? Isn't it supposed to be the standard/etalon? Has it something to see with HDR ?

86% sRGB in IPS pannel (60hz) vs 130% sRGB in tn pannel (120 hz)… Which one is better?

Melomano June 24, 2020 at 7:04 am

Is NTSC (1953) ~ 72% good for Photography and Editing ??

thomas leong June 24, 2020 at 7:04 am

92%srgb is.equal how.much % of ntsc? thx

Prabhu2086 June 24, 2020 at 7:04 am

Thank you for explaining these terms. Some monitors have 100%sRGB and some have 125% sRGB. So a 125% sRGB monitor can display more colors than a 100%sRGB monitor right ?
